Fall is nearly here and it is my favorite time of the year, the leaves falling off the trees, the beautiful endless warm shades of red and orange, isn't it a lovely season?

It is very popular to celebrate a Fall Baby Shower in October. I asked my friend Samantha from Samantha's Sweets to share with you her Little Pumpkin Baby Shower Cake.

This cake was made especially for a fall baby shower and was the centerpiece!

She baked these adorable pumpkin cookies for the dessert table. These cookies make great party favors, just wrap them in cellophane, tie with a ribbon and add a thank you card.

She also baked these adorable pumpkin cupcakes another great addition to the dessert table. 

Samantha shares her scoop on this beautiful cake:

This was one of my most favorite baby shower cakes.  The sugar items on top are a old fashioned bassinet with a little fondant pumpkin and checkered baby blanket.  The cake is fondant covered with fondant fall colored leaves.  A Fall baby shower theme is a wonderful idea and super easy to create.  Just use pumpkins, leaves and pine cones for centerpieces.  Acorns, candles, and tree branches are other great ways to decorate.  Pumpkin sugar cookies make great favors!  Pumpkin cupcakes are a wonderful addition as well and so very cute! Throwing a baby shower in the Fall is great!  There are so many decorations and party items available for Thanksgiving that one can use.
